The role will be split between supporting the Global Commercial Project Manager on the seasonal showrooms and supporting the Retail team with analytical support, reporting, events and client activations. This is an excellent opportunity for a university undergraduate to gain comprehensive exposure to all facets of the commercial aspect of a luxury fashion company. The analytical and reporting element alongside showroom exposure would be a perfect introduction to the industry for anyone looking to work in buying, merchandising or wholesale.
About the role:
- Commercial Operations: Supporting the organisation of the showroom each season (4 per year); renting furniture, sample management, including packing and shipping the collection, maintaining sample inventory, organising set up and breakdown of each showroom. Supporting management of all facets of the showroom for the week long duration in Paris. Monitoring payment and invoices for all events. Working on presentations for projects, proposals and activations. Supporting with operational requirements across all projects to ensure deadlines are met.
- Retail: Compile and report on sales performance within our flagship store and regional corners weekly and monthly. Assist the Retail Director with all events for client activation. Support with managing the set up for monthly client engagement events in the flagship store. Support order entry and ensure efficient and accurate processing. Act as a coordinator with other departments to ensure timely completion of retail activations. Support retail director on CRM activities.
Candidate Profile:
- A strong passion for the luxury commercial landscape.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to think creatively and take initiative in problem-solving, think on your feet with a highly analytical skillset.
- Maths experience or strength preferred.
- Capable of working effectively within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Powerpoint and Excel primarily.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Travel to Paris four times a year so an appropriate passport or visa is required. Working Arrangement: Hybrid model with four days in the office and one day working from home.
