The Logistics Coordinator works with the Logistics Manager in overseeing the movement of goods within the supply chain, according to the specific requirements of each category and covering suppliers, wholesalers, eCommerce and stores around the globe.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with freight forwarders/couriers to arrange collections/deliveries from both suppliers and customers.
- Ensuring stock accuracy when booking in on company operating system, managing variances with suppliers if and when needed.
- Reporting to customers regarding orders, shipments and any queries they may have.
- Working closely with the warehouse, prioritising customer deliveries. Ensuring all orders are prepared and shipped on time, with any customer requirements being correctly carried out.
- Production of all shipping documentation, especially for international purposes.
- Communicating cross functionally across the company, reporting to key stakeholders to ensure all processes are being followed and targets are being met.
- Manage customer returns and resolution.
- Coordinate inventory flows for direct to customer channels.
- Support the logistical flow for seasonal fashion shows, events and special projects.
- Update and maintain warehouse stock holding.
- Investigate, resolve and process inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the VB ERP.
- Support exit of excess inventory through samples sales.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in Logistics within the fashion industry, warehousing and shipping.
- Good understanding of shipping paperwork and international customs requirements, documentation, tax and duties.
- Positive proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
- Strong networking, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisation and team working skills.
- Experience with ERP system Visual Next.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good Excel skills a must.
