Overview: Victoria Beckham is recruiting a highly driven and strategic Area Manager Wholesale to lead and grow our wholesale business across North Europe (including the UK), the Middle East and APAC. This role requires strong commercial acumen, operational excellence and a proven track record in international business development. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, department store partnerships, and franchise operations in selected markets, while identifying new opportunities for brand elevation and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy & Market Development
    • Own and drive the wholesale strategy and budget across assigned regions.
    • Identify growth opportunities and define tailored market strategies by region (department stores, franchises, concept stores, distributors, etc.).
    • Lead seasonal sales forecasts, budgets and business reviews with each partner.
    • Monitor sell-through performance and take corrective actions to optimize sell-out.
  • Partner Management
    • Manage and develop relationships with wholesale partners, agents and distributors across the regions.
    • Act as the key point of contact for all commercial and operational topics.
    • Negotiate and renew agreements with local partners, ensuring brand consistency and profitability.
    • Oversee potential franchise or joint venture partnerships.
  • Go-to-Market & Sales Execution
    • Lead seasonal market appointments with a strong understanding of merchandising priorities, brand calendar and collection architecture.
    • Coordinate sell-in process in close collaboration with merchandising, finance and operations teams.
    • Ensure timely order entry, delivery follow-ups and in-season reorders.
  • Retail & Brand Development Support
    • Ensure brand visibility and in-store execution is aligned with global guidelines.
    • Work closely with the Project Management, Retail & Visual Merchandising teams to drive impactful activations.
    • Support local teams with training, store openings and sales targets.
  • Internal Collaboration & Reporting
    • Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Image, and Project Management teams to ensure holistic account management.
    • Provide regular sales reporting, market feedback and competitive benchmarking.
    • Contribute to internal projects such as new market openings or operational improvements.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international wholesale or buying in luxury fashion.
  • Strong knowledge of North European, Middle Eastern and/or APAC retail landscapes.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel wholesale accounts and franchise models.
  • Autonomous, entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned regions.
