Position with the Commercial Marketing team at Victoria and Albert Museum.
Base pay range: This range is provided by Victoria and Albert Museum. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
The Role: This role will be an integral part of the Commercial Marketing team with a focus on delivering campaigns for the V&A's commercial offer, including membership, V&A Academy, retail and publishing. These revenue‐generating areas help to fund our programme and collections, with 100% of profits returned to the V&A.
Working closely with the Commercial Marketing Manager, you will be involved in the ideation and delivery of marketing campaigns designed to grow our commercial offer. Supporting the growth of a range of products including V&A Retail, V&A Academy, and V&A Publishing. Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure the seamless development and execution of promotional assets and activity across owned and paid channels.

Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable marketing experience with campaign planning skills and specifically experience of digital marketing, paid digital campaigns and social media.
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills. Keen eye for detail and aptitude for developing content tailored for specific audiences.
- Experience of working with design teams and agencies to produce marketing materials and production plans (from print to digital display and social assets), making best use of available resources.
- Familiar with the basics of digital campaign reporting, able to use data and insight to make decisions and improve effectiveness.
- Curious and culturally engaged, and up to date with trends and developments in the marketing, digital, retail and cultural spaces.
- Desirable: Experience in membership propositions, e-commerce, arts, culture, publishing, retail or learning markets.
- Excellent standard of written English and highly numerate with the ability to analyse data and financial inputs to manage budgets and plans.
- Experience of communicating clearly, with the ability to adapt your communication style for different groups.
- Experience of using MS Office, Google Analytics and other relevant IT systems to an intermediate / advanced level.
- Ability to think creatively and flexibly, working under own initiative to manage high workload and multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines.
