We’re looking for a talented, passionate and practical Creative Artworker to join our team.

What we’re looking for:

  • The ideal person will be someone who can balance a range of projects and move happily from typesetting object labels for a major exhibition to creating the seasonal What’s On booklet or rolling a design concept including motion outputs across an advertising campaign; to creating museum collateral within brand guidelines and packaging artwork to liaising with printers or applying vinyl lettering to ensure an exhibition opens on time and looks fantastic.
  • In addition to individual projects, we’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to the ongoing development of the studio and print unit by ensuring artwork files and records are comprehensive and ensuring we maintain technical skills across the team by staying up to speed with new software, materials, techniques and production processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Show excellent design literacy and demonstrate a quick understanding of the style and objectives of concepts.
  • Bring an excellent knowledge of different types of production and materials, in order to liaise with our in‑house team and external printers.
  • Demonstrate proven experience of artworking a broad range of output, developing designs from an approved concept into a series of final assets.
  • Have experience handling typesetting amends according to client feedback and requirements.
  • Want to meticulously check artwork and ensure files are print or motion ready, including liaising with printer and social teams to ensure accuracy of final output.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (namely InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), including fantastic typographic, image retouching and motion skills.
  • Be organised with the ability to work with both speed and accuracy.
  • Bring excellent communication skills to maintain good relationships with our range of internal clients and ensure communication between the design studio and print unit on planned works, timelines and completed artworks.

Portfolio:

To submit your portfolio, please include a URL alongside your personal statement. Your portfolio should be readily available via any well‑known file‑sharing service/platform until the advertised start date. Please be advised that we cannot accept any links to individual/personal websites, as these are likely to be blocked by our IT security filter. You must include a portfolio showcasing a carefully selected range of relevant work that clearly demonstrates the skills required for the role. Your portfolio should include:

  • Working to brand guidelines across different collateral.
  • Working from concept to develop a range of campaign layouts and motion.

Please ensure your portfolio is submitted as instructed. Applications without a portfolio, or with one submitted incorrectly, cannot be considered.

This role is an FTC. Applications close 3 May @ 23:59.
