Head of Financial Lines is a senior leadership position within Victor UK responsible for shaping, governing and driving the strategy for the UK Financial Lines Underwriting Practice. Victor is Marsh’s MGA and we are on a journey to become the best Digitally Enabled, Full Stack, Specialist MGA in the UK. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial lines underwriting team to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies and product offerings tailored to market needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and carriers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the financial lines portfolio.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in financial lines underwriting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Established broker relationships and presence in the UK market.
- Deep knowledge of UK insurance market regulations and practices.
