Purpose of the role
The Community Partnership Officer will be responsible for the provision of development, support and guidance to VSS funded Community Partner organisations that deliver support and services to victims and survivors of the Troubles/conflict, Historical Institutional Abuse and Mother and Baby Homes, Magdelene Laundries and Workhouses.
By the closing date for applications, candidates must demonstrate that they fulfil each of the following essential criteria:
1. A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
2. A minimum of three years' experience in a programme or project delivery role.
3. Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community, voluntary, statutory, or other relevant organisations.
4. Demonstrable ability to plan and manage workload effectively, working to agreed deadlines to deliver tasks and achieve shared objectives.
5. Experience of preparing comprehensive reports for management, drawing on a range of qualitative and quantitative information sources to evaluate performance, demonstrate outcomes achieved, and inform decision-making.
6. A current UK Driving License with access to a car. This will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
1. Experience in staff management and/or co-ordinating team activities.
