Integrated Support Service Worker in Stoke-on-Trent

This role is based in Stafford but will operate across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Travel is expected; as is providing victim support in person, usually at VS offices or at community venues. As an ISS you will be:

Key Responsibilities

• the link worker between the behaviour change service and the victim service;
• ensuring risk information is shared appropriately and used to inform internal and external actions;
• communicating between the two services; exchanging referrals and information; contacting victims and liaising with them
• delivering support to all-risk level victims during programme intervention and beyond, where necessary, holding a caseload and providing direct support to partners/ex partners in accordance with their wishes and needs;
• ensuring partner agencies are aware of the integrated service and have due regard to its purpose
• delivering partner training and/or awareness sessions for enhancing relationships with partners and other stakeholders.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Support Service Worker who will be working for New Era Domestic abuse service, between our behaviour change and victim service. The post is 37.5 hours a week.
