We have an exciting new opportunity for a Triage & Early Interventions Officer to join the team in Thames Valley working 37.5 hours a week on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2027. This is a home based role; however it is a requirement of our contract that all applicants must reside within Oxfordshire, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire and there is a requirement for occasional travel throughout the whole Thames Valley area to attend Team Days and 121 Meetings.

About the role
This role is based from home with a requirement for occasional travel to venues across the region to attend Team Days and other meetings as required. You will be working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer, you will be:
- Talking to people on the telephone from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience.
- Working within a small supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be helpful but is not essential as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients.
- You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.
