We are looking for a Project Leader - Workforce Development, Recruitment & Onboarding to join our Safe Horizons Pan-London Domestic Abuse Service. This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of one day per week based at our office near Old Street and the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week.
This role will play a key part in ensuring we attract, recruit, support and retain the talented people who deliver vital services to victims and survivors of domestic abuse across London.

About the Role
As Project Leader - Workforce Development, Recruitment & Onboarding, you'll lead and coordinate recruitment, onboarding and workforce development activity across the Safe Horizons Pan-London Domestic Abuse Service. You'll work closely with managers to attract and retain talented staff, support new starters through induction and probation, and help develop processes that strengthen the employee experience and workforce effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating recruitment campaigns and supporting managers through the recruitment process.
- Leading onboarding, induction and probation activity for new starters.
- Ensuring pre-employment checks and safer recruitment requirements are completed.
- Developing resources, guidance and processes to support workforce development.
- Monitoring workforce data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Building effective relationships with operational managers, HR and corporate teams.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, workforce development or a related role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience of reviewing and improving processes and ways of working.
- Confidence using data and reporting information to support decision-making.
Experience within the domestic abuse, victim support, charity, criminal justice, public or wider social care sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
