What is the role? We are looking for a Bid Writer, working 35 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Income Generations & Partnerships, you will take a lead role in researching and reviewing funding and bidding opportunities.
- You will gather information required to produce compelling, high-quality bids from stakeholders.
- You will work collaboratively with key members of the Service Delivery teams to ensure bids and proposals can be operationalised.
- You will drive continuous improvement through analysis of feedback and suggesting changes and improvements.
Primary location Edinburgh or Glasgow (Hybrid working available)
Salary £31,890 – £42,109 per annum.
What you’ll need to be successful
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification that demonstrates excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to plan and organise workloads with shifting deadlines.
- Good understanding of trusts, statutory and lottery fundraising in the voluntary sector.
- Experience collating information for reports.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to develop effective internal and external relationships.
- Flexibility on working hours and travel as required.
