From brioche to beautiful bakes – lead something bigger. Buzzworks is growing and so is our bakehouse team. We’re now looking for an experienced and passionate Bakery Supervisor to help lead our busy production kitchen, supporting our venues with exceptional brioche, focaccia, breads and beautifully baked cakes and desserts.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled baker who loves enriched doughs, cares deeply about presentation and quality, and enjoys leading and supporting others to be their best. As Bakery Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our bakehouse, leading by example and supporting the team to deliver consistently outstanding bakery and dessert products across the business. Your focus will include:
- Supervising daily bakehouse production and supporting smooth service delivery
- Producing brioche, focaccia and artisan breads to a consistently high standard
- Baking cakes for our displays and desserts for our menus
- Supporting production planning to meet volume and quality requirements
- Coaching, supporting and developing bakehouse team members
- Maintaining exceptional standards of quality, consistency and presentation
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are upheld at all times
- Working closely with the wider kitchen and operations teams
About You:
- Proven baking experience, with strong skills in brioche, focaccia and cakes
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bakery role, or ready to step up
- A genuine passion for bakery and pride in your craft
- Confident leading by example in a fast-paced production environment
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working afternoon/evening shifts
- Committed to quality, consistency and developing others
