Location: Yarnton, Oxfordshire
Key Responsibilities- Pack for shipment all goods as required by Vicon
- Understand and maintain the FIFO system of stock
- Manual handling in compliance with company process
- Knowledge of shipping processes with DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.
- Stock management with Bill of Materials
- Correspondence and liaising with the Sales and Operations Planning team for priority of daily packaging
- Data entry to the company ERP for movement of product into stock
- Generate packing slips using company ERP
- Pack all goods, materials and returns to minimise shipping cost and potential damage, referring to relevant specifications
- Pack goods in compliance with shipping regulations, carrier and company requirements
- Final inspection of all goods, materials and repairs prior to packing
- Incorporate methods into the packing process to ensure goods packed match picking lists including serial number rationalisations
- Monitor and reorder packaging material as and when required
- Ensure the shipment area is kept tidy and organised and easily searchable
- Adhere to the company’s health and safety policy
- Undergo regular training to maintain skills and remain compliant with company regulations
- Assist in other areas where necessary to meet business needs (e.g., goods receiving, production kitting and stock counts)
- Meticulous with a good eye for detail
- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Enthusiastic and committed to the goals of the Company
