We are looking for a Customer Insight Assistant to join our Insight and Scrutiny Team within Strategic Services.

About the role

As the Customer Insight Assistant, your manager will be our Senior Insight Officer.

You will work up to 18.5 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area with our Head Office in Castleford.

You can expect to have a working week filled with a variety of activities.

A large part of this role is customer facing, and therefore you will be engaging with our customers through a variety of research methodologies.

Although, sometimes, nothing beats a phone call or meeting up directly with our customers.

Data collection is a busy aspect of the role, but the in-depth insights we can gather from our customers allows for high quality analysis and reporting.

The interrogation of data will be a weekly activity, ensuring all data is cleansed and ready for analysis using a great attention to detail to achieve this.

As we work across the entire organisation, the way we analyse data may be different depending on the research objectives and desired outcomes.

As a result, you may find that you spend part of your working week exploring ways of presenting data clearly, creatively and in an engaging way for our audience.

No two projects are the same, although you will use our library of past and present research projects to make links to other areas of the business and make comparisons to past data.

  • What you’ll do
  • Conduct data collection for both quantitative and qualitative research using a mixture of research methods
  • Input data from survey work and undertake data analysis using statistical software
  • Creatively design reports and presentations which present the findings of the research
  • Conduct regular data management activities to maintain databases.
  • Provide support where required to the work of the customer led Vico Scrutiny Team (VST), co-ordinated by the Scrutiny Officer and Scrutiny Support Officer based within the Customer Insight and Scrutiny Team.
