Do you enjoy working with people and making a real difference in local communities? We are looking for an Estate Manager to lead a high performing Estate Management Team and play a key role in creating safe, welcoming and sustainable communities for our customers.

In this role, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality estate management services across our communities. You'll ensure our neighbourhoods are well managed, environmentally attractive and places where customers feel proud to live. You'll support, motivate and develop your team so they can grow their skills, make confident decisions and deliver excellent customer service. Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and customers, you'll ensure our services reflect our Customer Charter and support our wider Business Strategy.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who brings confident leadership, sound judgement and a strong customer focus. You'll need:
- a Level 5 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework in a relevant subject area;
- significant experience in a management or team leadership role;
- the confidence and resilience to work in a busy, fast-moving environment;
- a track record of delivering strong performance and meeting service standards;
- great communication, leadership, negotiation and motivational skills;
- clear and confident written and verbal communication skills;
- a caring, customer-focused approach, with the ability to bring out the best in others and build positive relationships.
Please note that the postholder will need to hold a current, valid UK driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the Wakefield district and operating area as needed. You may also be required to attend occasional out of hours meetings and take part in call out or emergency planning arrangements.
