Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for various Trade Apprentices to join our Property Services and/or Property Investment Team. Apprenticeship start date: September 2026. Vico Homes offers apprenticeships in multiple trades and is part of a growing, vibrant housing sector. What you’ll do: Becoming an apprentice is an important decision and involves commitment. The teams are responsible for the maintenance and repair of our customers’ homes and carrying out refurbishment works. You will be working alongside multi-skilled tradespeople in a busy, inclusive environment and gain the knowledge to become a master of your craft. This year we have opportunities in the following craft roles:

  • Electrician (4 years)
  • Gas Engineer (2 years + 2 years Trainee Gas Engineer)
  • Joiner (2 years)
  • Bricklayer (2 years)
  • Plasterer (2 years)

What training do you get? As part of our apprenticeship programme you will receive up to four years of training and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification. The programme also offers opportunities for personal and professional development and insight into wider business operations.

What we’re looking for: We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic team players, good problem solvers, have a positive attitude and are committed to delivering excellent customer care. We are committed to tackling gender equality and welcome females to create a more diverse workforce. Dependent on the apprenticeship you are applying for you will have achieved, or be predicted to achieve:

  • Electrical and Gas: Five qualifications at Level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework including English Language, Maths and a Science such as GCSEs grades A-C/9-4, or equivalent
  • Joinery: Three qualifications at Level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework including English Language and Maths (GCSEs grades A-C/9-4, or equivalent)
  • Bricklaying and Plastering: Three qualifications at Level 2 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework including English Language and Maths (GCSEs grades A-D/9-3, or equivalent)
