About the Role
The HR Advisor will work closely with the HR Business Partner, providing comprehensive administrative support across assigned business areas. The position is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, on a fixed‑term basis for up to 12 months, based at the Head Office in Castleford.

Responsibilities
- Maintain efficient office and information management systems, ensuring secure and accurate record‑keeping in line with Data Protection requirements.
- Monitor the HR Advisor inbox, process referrals to Occupational Health and related services, and manage the timely collation and reporting of absence data.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Business Partner on disciplinary cases, including preparing documentation, arranging hearings and taking notes at meetings.
- Act as the first point of contact for colleagues at all levels, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures and statutory leave processes.
Requirements
- Experience as an HR Assistant or Administrator, with a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working toward it) or equivalent in HR or a related field.
- Strong HR administration experience, including advising managers, interpreting employment legislation and handling confidential matters.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
