The Role
Reporting to the Director of Development and Growth, you will lead our New Business and Delivery function, identifying, securing and delivering development opportunities that will underpin our future success.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a high-performing team
- Driving delivery of our ambitious growth strategy
- Securing land-led, Section 106 and partnership opportunities
- Building strong relationships with developers, local authorities, Homes England and key stakeholders
- Leading negotiations on complex development transactions
- Overseeing programme delivery, financial performance and risk management
- Presenting investment proposals and business cases to senior leaders and Boards
- Exploring innovative delivery models, including strategic partnerships and joint ventures
About You
We’re looking for an inspirational and commercially minded development leader with:
- A track record of securing and delivering complex development opportunities
- Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills
- Experience influencing at Executive and Board level
- The ability to build partnerships and inspire teams
- A passion for creating high-quality homes and thriving communities
