About the role
As the Business Planning Officer, your manager will be our Head of Building Safety and Compliance. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford. You will be responsible for ensuring that we have accurate data and systems providing assurance to the team and the business, following robust governance reporting processes and using our data intelligently to inform and improve our service delivery. It is an exciting time to be joining us and here are some of the initiatives that you will be involved in:
- Supporting the implementation of our Higher Risk Building (Building Safety) management regime through ensuring accurate data and up-to-date systems.
- Further strengthening our Building Safety and Compliance reporting processes, providing assurance across the business and external organisations.
- Working with colleagues on process efficiencies whilst embracing existing and new technologies.
What you’ll do
- Be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic asset management, Property Compliance and Building Safety information, producing and analysing data to identify and recommend efficiencies and improvements.
- Act as lead within the Building Safety and Compliance Team for management of information – providing advice and coordinating the provision of information.
- Be responsible for driving improvements in Property Compliance and Building Safety and manage new and existing software systems to ensure that Property Compliance and Building Safety information is correct and up to date, implement processes to improve data quality and retention, including the maintenance of Building Safety Cases and supporting the implementation and management of the Golden Thread Policy objectives.
- Assist the service in improving its processes, products and services through data analysis. Use, adopt and adapt business analysis approaches based on the work to be undertaken and selecting various approaches.
- Take responsibility for the Compliance management system TCW (The Compliance Workbook) and ensure that all relevant information is entered into the system, kept up to date and reconciled against the main housing management system (IBS Capita) and associated systems such as Risk Hub.
What we’re looking for
- A Qualification at Level 4 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework, such as a HNC, Award, Certificate or Diploma or equivalent in relevant subject area.
- Experience analysing complex data and drawing conclusions and making related recommendations.
- Evidence of a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to quality assure own work.
- Aware of Building Safety and Compliance management.
