Your day to day:
- Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will provide technical support to customers and dealers across international markets, ensuring equipment is commissioned, maintained and operating at peak performance.
- Commissioning and training customers and dealers on mobile crushing and screening equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding, servicing and repairs.
- Providing remote technical support to the global dealer network.
- Producing detailed service reports, risk assessments and method statements following site visits.
- Supporting new product development through prototype testing and customer feedback.
- Building strong relationships with customers while delivering first-class technical support.
Your essentials:
- You will have a strong mechanical or electromechanical background and enjoy working in customer-facing environments where no two days are the same.
- You will ideally have proven experience in mechanical or electromechanical service engineering.
- Experience working with crushing, screening, quarrying, construction or heavy plant equipment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, auto-electrics and general maintenance.
- Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics (desirable).
- Electrical or welding qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
- A full clean driving licence and valid passport.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
