Vickerstock are working in partnership with a wholesale distribution business on the appointment of a Warehouse Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you report directly to the WM and Site Director, managing a team of 30 in a fast paced and busy warehouse. Operational hours are 7:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday: 39 hours (early Friday finish at 3 pm).

In your new role:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations and supervising staff in Manager's absence.
- Managing and assigning the daily work plan.
- Monitor accuracy and organisation during intake and out-load.
- Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure branch/customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Assist in employee training, development, and engagement.
- This position requires active involvement in all warehouse operations, including but not limited to: manual handling; order picking; unloading deliveries; loading trucks; and printing customers' invoices.
What you will need to succeed:
- 2 years recent experience in a warehouse supervisory position.
- Experience working in busy warehouse/logistics depot.
- Experience working with a warehouse management system.
- Forklift/Aisle master license.
