Vickerstock are working in partnership with a food manufacturing firm on the appointment of a Warehouse & Logistics Manager on a full-time permanent contract. As the Warehouse & Logistics Manager you will have full responsibility for the warehousing and logistics function, where you will promote a culture of contninuous improvement while also creating a positive and colloborative workforce which is imperative for the next stage of growth for the business. In your new role: Management of logistics administration including, driver breaks Taco meters, Taco graphs, compliance to legislation and online portal (logistics UK) Management of transport fleet including servicing, routine maintenance, PSV, MOT, break testing. Planning of logistics and overseeing implementation of plan Collaborate with third party transport providers to optimise supply chain operations and ensure retail and non-retail customer service standards are achieved. Management of supply chain coordinators in line with customer service requirements. Build relationships with customers hubs and supply chain depots to ensure best service. Demonstrate knowledge of 5S systems Management of Health and Safety across Warehousing and logistics operations Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to improve supply chain performance. Prepare reports on Key Performance Metrics including Average Weight of Products for senior management review.
