Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a SHEQ Advisor for projects based in Dublin. Reporting to the Project / Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality compliance across project sites.

Your new role as a SHEQ Advisor:

  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are regularly reviewed and communicated.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Assist with Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure accidents and near misses are documented and investigated.
  • Deliver site inductions and coordinate SHEQ training.
  • Maintain SHEQ documentation and records.
  • Support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Promote a positive safety culture across projects.

What you will need to succeed as a SHEQ Advisor:

  • NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety Qualification Certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar SHEQ / Health & Safety role.
  • Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Civil engineering or construction experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Full valid driving licence.
  • Right to work in Ireland essential.
