Job Description

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing manufacturingbusiness on the appointment of a Supply Chain Project Planner on a full-time permanent basis. This is a newly created position to compliment the strong period of growth that our client are experiencing.

As the Supply Chain Project Planner you will work liaise extensively with key suppliers to ensure that plant and materials are delivered within the agreed time frame to ensure full alignment with the project programme. You will report directly to the Head of Procurement.

In your new role:

  • Liaise closely with Supply Chain Quality engineers, monitoring supplier performance against agreed project time line.
  • Ensure OTD KPIs are monitored closely and engage with suppliers on any lapse in service quality.
  • Engage in weekly meetings regarding the progress of plant and material supply and progress.
  • Highlight any potential risks to the supply chain while maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Continue to develop and manage supplier relationships.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Previous supply chain experience
  • Project Management/Coordination experience
  • Degree/qualifications in a relevant area
  • Working experience of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (desirable)
