Are you an experienced Supply Chain Planner looking to take the next step in your career with a forward-thinking business? Vickerstock are working in partnership with a market-leading manufacturer who are looking for a new member of staff to join their growing supply chain team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Review weekly production requirements and schedule production effectively to meet customer demand and service level targets.
  • Monitor daily adherence to the production plan, adjusting priorities where required to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Care team to proactively resolve any supply-related issues.
  • Coordinate and process special delivery or concession requests, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurately completed.
  • Record and report on plan change costs, providing clear and timely insights to support decision-making.
  • Integrate trial production runs into the weekly planning schedule with minimal disruption to regular operations.
  • Maintain and update open process orders and shipping master data accurately within the SAP system.
  • Partner with the call-off team to ensure materials are available daily to support production plans.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly KPI reports, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.
  • Support daily transport planning activities, providing cover and assistance as required.
  • Create delivery orders in SAP and liaise with approved logistics partners to guarantee on-time delivery to customer sites.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning or a related role within manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
