Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing B2B wholesaler who have identified a need for growth in their supply chain team. Our client are now hiring for a Supply Chain Coordinator on a full-time basis to support company growth and product demand as they aim to increase market share in the GB market. The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a vital role in the business, responsible for maintaining accurate stock data, placing and tracking orders while supporting forecasting and reporting activities. This is an excellent chance for someone looking to find a more "all-round" and faster paced supply chain role!

Key Duties

  • Assist in reporting stock valuation, highlighting potential risks and supporting accurate forecasting.
  • Place purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels, analysing inventory positions, and identifying trends or potential shortages.
  • Review and approve purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy prior to sign-off.
  • Track orders and proactively follow up with suppliers to ensure adherence to agreed goods-ready dates.
  • Maintain and update the order tracker on a daily basis.
  • Complete weekly TSS (Trader Support Service) declarations accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate the transport of goods efficiently, optimising container utilisation and ensuring deliveries meet required deadlines.
  • Compile, update, and maintain stock reports in collaboration with the CST Manager and Supply Chain and Inventory Controller, identifying and resolving stock-related issues.
  • Oversee goods receipt processes, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

About you:

  • 1 year in a similar setting such as supply chain, stock control, purchasing or accounts.
  • Experience placing and tracking orders with multi-national suppliers (ideally China).
  • Experience working in a collaborative working environment.
  • Past experience of an ERP, MRP or WMS.
  • Competent Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookup).
