Vickerstock are pleased to be working alongside a leading, local engineering consultancy delivering innovative structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects. As the business continues to grow its buildings team in Belfast, they are seeking an experienced Structural Technician with strong Revit capability to support the delivery of high-quality structural design projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable Structural Technician to join an established consultancy, work on a varied portfolio of projects and further develop their career within a collaborative engineering environment.
Your new role as Structural Technician:
- Working as part of an experienced structural engineering team, you will support the delivery of detailed structural design information across a range of building projects.
- Producing detailed structural drawings and models using Revit.
- Supporting the delivery of structural engineering projects across commercial, residential, industrial and public sector developments.
- Preparing accurate technical drawings, details and documentation throughout the design process.
- Collaborating closely with structural engineers, architects and wider project teams.
- Ensuring drawings and models are produced to a high standard and in line with project requirements.
- Assisting with the coordination of design information and resolving technical queries.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction stages.
What you will need to succeed as Structural Technician:
- A qualification in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working as a Structural Technician within an engineering consultancy environment.
- Strong proficiency using Revit for structural modelling and detailing.
- Experience producing structural drawings and technical details for building projects.
- A good understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality technical outputs.
