Vickerstock Recruitment are working with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit a Structural Revit Technician for their Belfast office. This consultancy has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building projects across the UK and Ireland and continues to grow due to a healthy project pipeline. They are now looking to add an experienced Structural Revit Technician to support their structural engineering team and contribute to the delivery of well-coordinated, buildable designs.
Your new role as Structural Revit Technician:
- Producing and developing structural models and drawings using Revit
- Supporting engineers with coordinated design information across multiple disciplines
- Ensuring models and drawings align with project standards, BIM protocols and best practice
- Assisting with clash detection and design coordination
- Updating models and drawings through design development and construction stages
- Contributing to efficient, buildable and well-coordinated design solutions
What you'll need to succeed:
- Experience working as a Structural Revit Technician or Structural CAD Technician
- Strong working knowledge of Revit within a structural engineering environment
- Good understanding of structural drawings and construction detailing
- Experience working on building projects (commercial, residential, education or similar)
- A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a consultancy environment and exposure to BIM Level 2 workflows would be advantageous.
