Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a large engineering consultancy to support the continued growth of their structural engineering team. Due to a strong and sustained pipeline of work, they are seeking to appoint Structural Engineers at Engineer, Senior, and Associate level, with flexibility on location between Dublin, Cork, or Limerick. Hybrid working is fully supported, with a 2 days from home / 3 days in the office model.
These roles offer the opportunity to work within a highly regarded consultancy delivering technically challenging projects across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors, while benefiting from a collaborative culture and clear progression pathways.
Your new role: Depending on your level, you will be involved in the analysis, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to construction. Responsibilities across the roles will include:
- Structural design and analysis using Eurocodes and Irish standards.
- Producing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary design teams and external stakeholders.
- Supporting construction-stage activities, including responding to technical queries.
For Senior and Associate roles:
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
- Managing project delivery, programme, and resourcing.
- Supporting client relationships and contributing to business development.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Engineer level: Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Experience working within a structural engineering consultancy. Strong technical grounding and a desire to progress toward chartership.
- Senior level: Proven experience delivering building or infrastructure projects. Ability to take technical ownership of projects. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Progression toward Chartered Engineer status.
- Associate level: Chartered Engineer status. Strong technical leadership experience. Proven client-facing capability and project management experience. Ability to contribute to team development and business growth.
