Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing wholesale distribution business on the appointment of a Stock & Warehouse Coordinator. THIS POSITION IS INITIALLY BASED IN NEWTOWNARDS, MOVING TO CARRICK IN OCTOBER 2026.

As the Stock & Warehouse Coordinator, you will maintain accurate stock records, ensure strong data integrity, and support efficient warehouse operations. This role plays a vital part in monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and driving process improvements to maintain reliable stock accuracy and product availability.

In your new role:

  • Conduct regular stock checks, including weekly reviews of key and low-stock items, ensuring accurate system visibility.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, including missing stock, pick errors, and mispicks, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Complete routine stock reviews, including BIBO checks where applicable, and validate stock adjustments prior to processing.
  • Support periodic stock counts and year-end inventory processes to maintain overall stock accuracy.
  • Take ownership of stock data across all systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Maintain and update product information, stock codes, and inventory records in line with business requirements.
  • Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and reflected within relevant systems.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in stock control processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of effective stock control procedures and internal controls.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to resolve stock-related queries.
  • Provide administrative support relating to stock control and inventory management activities.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a stock control, inventory or supply chain‑related role.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data handling and record management.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills, including the ability to manipulate data, use formulas, and manage spreadsheets efficiently.
  • Experience using ERP, MRP or WMS systems.
