Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading food processing company on the appointment of Quality Control Technician for their Monaghan based site. As the successful Quality Control Technician will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality activities while assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Conduct routine quality control checks including:
- Raw material testing
- Finished product inspections
- Weight verification & label verification
- Temperature monitoring
What you will need to succeed:
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science / Food Technology (or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with BRCGS standards is essential.
- Experience in New Product Development (NPD) is desirable.
- High-risk food production experience is desirable but not essential.
