Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading food company for their site in Craigavon on the appointment of Quality Assurance Technician.

Reporting to the QA Supervisor, the successful candidate will carry out activities effectively and efficiently which support operational processes in the production of a product in accordance with food hygiene and food safety standards, which meets customer and product specifications and relevant quality standards.
What your day to day will look like as QA Technician:
- Carrying out \’shelf-life\’ testing
- Assessing raw material for quality
- Carrying out sampling & conducting on-line testing in accordance with procedures
- Ensuring that product adheres to customer specification
- Carrying out quality tests, such as calibration, temperature control, weight etc.
- Carrying out quality audits, for example, glass & plastic audits, hygiene audits
- Liaising with production
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience in quality assurance/food safety within a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food hygiene, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Experience in audits (internal, third-party, or retailer) and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
