Vickerstock are working in partnership with a giant European manufacturing business on the appointment of a Purchasing Administrator. This position is an excellent chance for the successful applicant should you be looking to kick-start your career in purchasing or other areas of supply chain. It is also suitable for those with experience gained in a similar position. There is a strong starting salary on offer for someone with little to no purchasing experience, ranging to £27,000. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain a CIPS qualification after 12 months' experience.

In your new role:
- Process purchase orders and invoices efficiently.
- Manage and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for generating and developing regular reports.
- Administer supplier approvals and material code management.
- Maintain and update pricing records accurately.
- Process and report TSS customs declarations.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and compiling local contracts and agreements.
- Perform other purchasing-related duties as required.

- Previous similar experience or relevant degree (Supply Chain, Economics, Accountancy, Finance).
- You must be able to use formulas, pivots, v-look ups.
- SAP experience is desirable.
