Your core responsibility will be leading and supervising your Production Team ensuring efficiency through maximisation of productivity in order to achieve the objectives and goals of the Company in line with legislative and customer requirements.

HOURS: MONDAY TO THURSDAY, 4PM -00.30AM, FRIDAY 1-9.30PM (DAY SHIFT, MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8AM TO 4.30PM).

Salary: £32,500- £35,000 3% pension contribution Life Assurance 1x Salary 22 days holiday plus 8 statutory days Christmas Closures Service Awards Birthday hampers Employee recognition events A typical Evening as the successful Production Supervisor: Plan and prepare the production area prior to commencement of shift.
Organise staff to maximise production output ensuring that targets and KPIs are achieved.
Manage and deliver lean projects and activities on a daily, weekly monthly basis.
Ensure that production staff comply with Company rules and procedures at all times.
Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene and security Ensure all Production Operatives have adequate PPE and that all housekeeping and hygiene practices are adhered to.
Supervise, train and develop team members encouraging a culture of high performance, teamwork, innovation and efficiency Minimise down time between production changeovers.
Ensure products are processed to the highest quality and that customer specifications are adhered to.
Monitor all production and quality reports, ensuring all necessary information is checked and recorded.
Participation in improvement projects, focus on making efficiencies where possible In conjunction with the Production Management Team work on forward planning in relation to production, quality and staffing requirements.
Key holder responsibility.
