Process Engineer – Water | Belfast
A leading MEP contractor is seeking a Process Engineer to join its expanding in-house design team in Belfast. With a strong presence in the water and wastewater sector across Ireland and the UK, the company is investing in technical talent to support a pipeline of projects for key public and private sector clients.

Your new role as Process Engineer – Water
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of process engineering solutions on a range of water and wastewater treatment projects. Working within a multi-disciplinary design and delivery team, you will support all phases of project delivery-from concept development and process selection to detailed design, commissioning, and optimisation of treatment systems.

What you will need to succeed as a Process Engineer
To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Chemical, Environmental, Process Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience delivering process design solutions in the water or wastewater sector
  • Knowledge of water treatment technologies, sludge management, chemical dosing, and biological processes
  • Experience producing process flow diagrams, mass balance calculations, and process modelling
  • Familiarity with D&B environments and project lifecycle stages including commissioning
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements including DWI and EA/NIW guidelines
