Vickerstock are working in partnership with a Food Manufacturing business on the appointment of a Payroll and Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This position is based in Armagh City, but occasional travel to Monaghan may be required. You will provide accurate financial administration to three divisions of the growing business, reporting to both the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. In your new role:
- Process weekly payroll for 300+ employees for HMRC and ROI payroll
- Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers using Sage Line 50
- Prepare accounts up to Trial Balance
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Support credit control management
- Perform bank reconciliations and conduct creditor and debtor reconciliations
What you will need to succeed:
- Experienced Accounting Technician or PQ Accountant
- Payroll experience with Irish payroll experience an added bonus
- Strong SAGE 50 and Excel skills
- Full driving license with the flexibility to travel between Armagh and Monaghan
