b Overview /b p In this role you drive the development and successful launch of new and redesigned products within a multidisciplinary NPD team. You’ll collaborate across site disciplines, development chefs, commercial and customer teams to scale concepts, ensure quality and compliance, and deliver on time and cost targets. You’ll engage customers, manage records for audits, and explore food trends and process improvements to sustain innovation. This position offers growth, a structured work week, and the chance to impact product quality from sustainable sources. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Competitive salary /li li Pension Scheme /li li Life Assurance /li li Mon-Fri with occasional weekend cover /li li Opportunity for personal growth and development /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage end-to-end NPD processes to launch and optimize new/redeveloped products on time and cost-effectively /li li Liaise with customers to build strong relationships and align on briefs /li li Collaborate with Development Chefs and Commercial Team to co-own information and briefs /li li Scale up product concepts in the factory for timely, accurate customer presentation /li li Ensure food safety, quality, and legality for all new/modified products /li li Maintain records of NPD activities to support audits in NPD EPD /li li Engage with food trends and innovation with internal teams and customers /li li Collaborate with suppliers and external experts to support product development and improvements /li li Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver legally compliant lines from site /li li Assist with new processes, machinery, capabilities and R D projects as appropriate /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 2 years+ food industry experience, preferably in a Product Development role /li li Higher-education qualification in a related discipline OR equivalent industry experience /li li Understanding of foodservice/retail customers’ ways of working /li li Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects /li li Knowledge of food science and manufacturing processes /li li Effective written and verbal communication at all levels /li li Ability to work both independently and in a team /li li Willingness to build knowledge beyond core experience /li li Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to UK sites/customers /li /ul ul li strong communication skills /li li teamwork mindset /li li initiative and self-motivation /li li knowledge of food science /li li manufacturing processes /li li NPD processes and project management /li /ul
