Vickerstock are partnering with our innovative and global Food Manufacturing Client with the appointment of a Night Shift Supervisor for their newly furbished manufacturing facility based in Co. Armagh. This isn't just any food manufacturing business - our client continually strives to push boundaries; they challenge the processes and challenge the ingredients, making their products stand out with the consumer.
The specifics:
- Salary £40-46K depending on experience
- Sunday 7pm to 7am and Monday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am
- 31 days holiday (incl. stats)
Your Day to Day as the successful:
- Reporting to the Factory Manager and in collaboration with the wider team - Operations, Technical, Hygiene and Engineering:
- Ensure correct and efficient set up of production lines including prestart check paperwork are completed in full.
- Execute the production plan adhering to running order and volumes.
- Work towards Production KPI in relation to output, waste, and cost.
- Organise ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume.
- Check that product meets company requirements and customer specification.
- Accurate completion of all quality and production documentation.
- Train new employees and agency workers on department specifics.
- Implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example.
- Adherence to all Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times.
Your Essential Ingredients:
- Proven experience at a similar level delivering to company targets within a Food Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to inspire others, lead by example and comfortable coaching those who are not achieving the standards expected.
- Lead on continuous improvement initiatives, utilise lean manufacturing tools and show creativity in growing the business.
- Strong communication skills across all platforms and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Highly accountable, sound and decisive decision maker.
- Competent Microsoft Office user - ability to produce reports for management.
- Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.
