Location: NI with Travel to Midlands, England
Vickerstock are working with an established Civil Engineering specialist from Northern Ireland to recruit Civil Site Engineers and Senior Site Engineers.
Additional Info
This role requires living away in Birmingham, with provided accommodation and travel. You can do Mon-Friday travel or rotation patterns.
Your New Role as Civil Site Engineer
- Supervise daily construction for water infrastructure works, including pumping stations and treatment plants
- Ensure works are aligned with design plans, company standards and key specifications
- Regularly report on project progress
- Interpret technical drawings
- Provide guidance to contractors on site
- Take part in setting out
- Conduct site inspections
- Coordinate material inspections and tests
- Encourage Health and Safety on site
What you'll need to be successful
- 1 year civil site engineering experience, ideally within Water and Wastewater
- Degree-level education or Apprenticeship education in a related field
- Ability to travel and live away for work
- British, Irish, EU Passport or Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK
