  • Producing detailed electrical schematics, cable schedules, panel layouts and design documentation.
  • Coordinating with civil, mechanical and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Supporting project delivery from concept through detailed design and into construction/commissioning support.
  • Preparing technical reports, risk assessments and specifications compliant with industry standards and water sector requirements.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, statutory bodies and suppliers to resolve technical issues and optimise designs.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Assisting with design reviews, testing procedures, and quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.

To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in electrical design engineering, ideally within the water sector or infrastructure environment.

  • Familiarity with water/wastewater industry standards, regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail and project organisation.
  • Experience with high voltage systems is an advantage, though not essential.
