Location: Lisburn

Mon - Fri business hours - Flex on start and finish times

On Offer: £35-47K depending on experience - with overtime at single rate

The Company: Our Client is a long time established very successful design, engineering and manufacturing business based in the Lisburn area. They have a steady stable order book and have a very interesting and diversified and cutting edge electromechanical product range that will be the focus of this role. They are looking for a highly versatile and skilled Mechatronic Design Engineer to take on a multi-functional role within their growing team. The successful candidate will be supporting projects from concept through design, prototyping, testing, right through to launch.

The Role:

  • Support the design and development of new and existing products, focusing on performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency
  • Electromechanical Engineering - design, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Product Testing & Validation to standards
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Project Development Management of your time and budgets etc
  • Technical Authoring of manuals, specifications etc of products

Essential:

  • Third-level qualification in mechatronics (Practical work history / experience within this industry will be considered)
  • Mechanical Design Engineering experience - Solidworks, Solid Edge, Inventor, ProE and Creo will all be considered
  • Hands-on experience with product testing, validation, and compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desirable but not essential are knowledge of heating technology or HVAC systems, as well exposure to polymer design/manufacturing.
