Vickerstock are currently working in partnership with one of Northern Irelands fastest growing companies to assist them with the recruitment of a Manufacturing Supervisor for one of their sites in Co. Down.

As the Manufacturing Supervisor you will lead, oversee day to day operations within the department while ensuring H&S regulations are followed.

Your key responsibilities as a Manufacturing Supervisor;

  • Ensure that assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels of parts and materials, and liaise with procurement or stores to ensure adequate supply.
  • Train new staff and conduct regular refresher training for existing team members.
  • Work with engineering and quality control teams to resolve any production or technical issues.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics such as output, efficiency, downtime, and rework rates.
  • Lead daily briefings and participate in continuous improvement (e.g. 5S, Lean, Kaizen) initiatives.

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, ideally you will have.

  • GCSE English and Maths are essential
  • Highly competent in training others to meet operation standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
