Vickerstock are working in partnership with a successful company to schedule corrective and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing process equipment with input from appropriate Manufacturing personnel.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing corrective and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing process equipment in accordance with applicable procedures, policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Troubleshooting equipment as necessary, working with equipment owners, engineers and equipment vendors.
- Involved in developing solutions for equipment issues.
- Ensuring the maintenance and calibration schedule is level loaded throughout the year.
- Developing Maintenance KPI's and maintaining tracking tools to monitor department commitments and assignments related to compliance and quality systems.
- Reporting maintenance performance to management.
As a Maintenance Manager, ideally you will have:
- 5 years recent and relevant experience of leading and managing a maintenance department within a manufacturing environment - ideally FMCG.
- A good working knowledge of SAP.
- The capability to troubleshoot system issues at a high level.
- A strong sense of responsibility, leadership and team player skills.
- The ability to accurately summarise important technical aspects through report writing.
