As a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality assurance on construction projects. Regularly review, update, and communicate all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies, procedures, rules, and regulationsCarry out safety audits, inspections, and investigations; produce reports and ensure ongoing complianceOversee the preparation and periodic review of Risk Assessments and Method StatementsRecord, investigate, and implement recommended improvements for all accidents and near-missesEnsure site inductions are delivered to all employees, contractors, and visitorsOrganise and coordinate SHEQ-related training for employeesManage and update all relevant administrative tasks within the SHEQ DepartmentSupport the development of documentation required for the SHEQ Management System to align with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standardsWhat you will need to succeed:2+ years' experience within a similar H&S role - Civil Engineering/ConstructionRelevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, etc)Experience with ISO standards and auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)Experience with report writing, organisation or planningGood communication skillsIT and numeracy skills (MS Office)Full clean driving license - travel to site requiredDesirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):Environmental or Quality certificationsKnowledge of Windfarm or Rail worksNEBOSH DiplomaFor a more detailed brief and a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Sam Geddis, our Health and Safety Specialist today.
