Accounts Assistant Location: Crossmaglen Salary: £30,000 per annumContract: 3-month temporary contract with potential to become permanent Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a growing manufacturing business in Crossmaglen to recruit an Accounts Assistant on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant with a manufacturing background to join a busy finance function and play an important role across day-to-day accounts, stock reconciliation and month-end activities. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start as soon as possible and will be confident working collaboratively across finance and non-finance teams. You will need to be proactive, professional and comfortable identifying issues and improving existing processes. The Role Reconcile stock records between warehouse, production and finance systems. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies with relevant teams. Calculate purchase price and other manufacturing variances. Process and post supplier invoices and payments. Place purchase orders as required and ensure spend is appropriately authorised. Assist with cash-flow reporting and supplier
