You will take significant technical responsibility across the development of advanced electronic products and systems, working from initial requirements and concept development through detailed design, testing, validation and introduction into manufacture. This remains a strongly hands-on engineering position and would particularly suit an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer who wants to progress into a Lead R&D position while continuing to design, develop and solve complex electronic engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take technical ownership of electronic design and development activities
  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuitry

  • Contribute to technical design reviews and provide technical guidance to other Engineers
  • Work closely with Software, Mechanical and other Engineering disciplines throughout product development
  • Support the continued development and improvement of existing products
  • Support the successful introduction of new electronic designs into manufacture
  • Ensure appropriate engineering documentation and design records are maintained throughout development

Essential Criteria

  • Significant experience within Electronics Design Engineering, Electronic Product Development or R&D Engineering
  • Strong analogue and digital electronics design experience
  • Experience developing complex electronic products or systems
  • Strong schematic capture and circuit design capability
