Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy as they continue to expand their capability across the renewable energy sector. Due to an increasing workload and a growing pipeline of renewable energy projects, they are seeking a Renewable Energy / Electrical Engineer to join their Belfast team.
Working across wind, solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), you will support the delivery of projects from early-stage development through design and construction. Your new role as an Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will support the delivery of renewable energy projects across the UK, collaborating with clients, contractors and other technical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Assisting with electrical engineering design, technical assessments and project coordination
- Supporting projects from feasibility and planning through detailed design and construction
- Preparing technical reports, drawings and project documentation
- Liaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
- Supporting project management activities including programme coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Contributing to the development of practical, technically robust and commercially considered engineering solutions
What you will need to succeed as an Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy Projects)
- Technical experience
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related discipline
- Ideally a few years' post-graduate experience within renewable energy, electrical engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience delivering or supporting wind, solar or BESS projects would be advantageous
- Candidates with experience managing renewable energy projects from either a consultancy or contractor background are also encouraged to apply
- A strong interest in renewable energy and the wider energy transition
