Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading specialist engineering business to recruit an experienced BIM Coordinator for their growing team in Dundalk. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically complex MEP and data centre projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Working across design, manufacturing and construction, you'll coordinate detailed BIM models through to fabrication and installation, with significant exposure to offsite manufacturing and prefabricated building services.
The Opportunity
- Develop and manage fully coordinated MEP models using Revit
- Carry out clash detection, model federation and multidisciplinary coordination
- Produce fabrication-ready models, spool drawings and construction information
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural elements
- Produce installation and setting-out drawings for site teams
- Manage model revisions and information throughout project delivery
- Support projects through fabrication, installation and as-installed handover
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings with internal and external project teams
What You'll Need
- Previous BIM Coordinator experience within MEP or building services
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP
- Experience using Navisworks Manage or similar coordination software
- Ability to interpret MEP schematics, layouts and fabrication drawings
- Experience delivering BIM projects through design and construction stages
- Understanding of BIM standards and ISO 19650
- Experience with offsite manufacturing or fabrication-level modelling would be advantageous
