About the Role
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Antrim to recruit a Powder Coating Production Manager. This position will oversee a modern powder coating facility alongside a secondary logistics, kitting and light assembly operation located close to the company's main manufacturing site. Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead approximately 40 staff across both facilities with the support of Production Supervisors, taking responsibility for productivity, throughput, quality standards and on-time delivery. The company are particularly interested in individuals with previous powder coating, paint line, surface finishing or metal finishing manufacturing experience who can bring a strong operational and continuous improvement mindset to the role.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across the powder coating and operational facilities
- Drive productivity, throughput and operational efficiency
- Improve on-time delivery and workflow management
- Ensure powder coating quality, process consistency and production output targets are achieved
- Lead and develop Production Supervisors and operational teams
- Work closely with planning, production and wider operations teams
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
- Maintain high standards across H&S, quality and operations

- Previous powder coating, paint line, surface finishing or metal finishing manufacturing experience
