The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Key Responsibilities as a HV Engineer:

  • Advise and undertake plant shutdowns and isolations
  • Ensure baseline configuration related to safety
  • Provide supervision of competent persons undertaking electrical safety work
  • Apply technical knowledge for HV & LV systems and structures
  • Interpret and deliver contractual obligations which may include troubleshooting, quoting, reporting, commissioning and handover duties
  • Identify and escalate business risks where applicable to client stakeholder
  • Make evidence-based engineering decisions to solve technical problems

What you will need to succeed as a HV Engineer:

  • A recognised electrical trade or equivalent engineering qualification (ONC/OND/HNC/Level 4)
  • S5 Safe Operation of High Voltage Power Systems
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety statutory legislation and requirements
  • Proven ability to deliver across industrial/manufacturing HV & LV infrastructure, plant and equipment
  • Experience delivering FM engineering and maintenance services across the life of HV assets
